you can do a straight swap in less than an hour! 4-8 hours? wtf!
the YTS boy could do it in less than that and give them a respray in between!
ok: to swap them, attach mudguard, new bearings, swap hub, new cables attach everything and check for free play and tighten maybe 3 hours tops.

Have some new ones from Ron daly which have just come back from Quality Chrome in Hull .
They will be going on a disc model.
being so crap at mechanics (even basics) and most other DIY i use plumbers for plumbing builders for building work and mechanics for car and scooter work.Dont want to screw the scooter up hence want the expert on it.
Keeping mechanics in work for 20 years !!!!!!!!

crikey matey , i feel your pain .and quite understand that if your not (as in this case )mechanically minded at all ..or even practically minded and good with your hands at all in anyway that you would of course cringe and begrudge paying others (mechanics, plumbers etc etc )to do all those minor jobs that others could and often do manage ...
i would really like to see you do this easy/straightforward job yourself ,in order to save yourself a small fortune and to boost your ego ..
