phbh 28 mm -- has oil feed pipe -- do i blank it off

ive just built an engine and the carb iam using seems to have brass pipe on the choke side -- is this an oil feed pipe and do i need to blanck it off - or will it not make any diffrance--

let me know -- and how do you blank it off if i need to do it?

definitely blank it off
little rubber caps available for this very purpose
I fill the end of the tube with solder, and then silicone this cap on.

As byron said i`ve blocked mine off with solder,job done for me.

without it blocked would this weaken the mixture as air could get in?

yes, probably quite catastrophically...
