O.k. carb gurus - Here's what I've got. I'm looking for a rough idea as to where to start with my jetting.

24 Mikuni w/ 4dh7 needle
MRB / SIL stg 4 200 barrel
Mk4 Taffy pipe.
Marchald air filter.

So before I buy hundreds of jets I don't need, any ideas as where to start?

Thnx in advance.

Can't comment on the atmospherics in California but I'd go: Pilots 15 and 17.5, mains 190 down to 175. I'd start 3rd clip down and with the 190, working leaner.

Bgm jet sets might be economically good solution for your problem if you need more than just a couple of jets. Genuine Mikuni jets bought one at a time are pretty expensive.

My set up

Mugello V4 186
TM24 15 pilot,170 main,second clip down
Marchald Filter
JL3 pipe
18 x 47
GP 200 box
This was dyno'd at Diablo a few weeks back but had a PM Evo pipe with 160 main he told me JL3 would be a better pipe and not as peaky as the PM.
Hope this is of help.

You can get different atomisers for the TM24, they come fitted with Q0 ...... P8 is next leanest, Q2 next richest. I'm told that if you change then go at least 4 numbers to make much of a difference, eg if you want to go leaner go P6 then P2.
