Is there a chain available for this set up that doesn;t have the word "stretched" in its name

Could you use a longer chain and one of the chain guides that pulls the chain down to tension it ?????

there is a new one out that can be fitted either way ....push up and pull down

Its shown there on sprockets of the same size......... somehow i think it would react differently in a Lambretta setup???

i think i know what you mean Paul - the chain at the top must by any law of physics that you care to throw at it be at the same speed as the lower chain no matter what the sprocket combo is,but not being parallel it wouldn't stay put

Good point , I can't seem to find alternative chain tensioner system to enable a 17/47 setup to be used.

corrado does the push up type ,these should allow any combo with just one chain
