malossi 210 pinging problem

hi all!,
im having problems seting up my malossi 210 ive tried a larger main jets, retarding the timing and a lower compression head i tried adding octane booster of 7 points and i cant stop the pinging any ideas ?????
malossi 210
mmw 10:8 to head
maz full circle 60mm crank
1.5mm base packer on the bottom of the barrel
mmw evo 2 reed block with bgm rd 350 style reed
vintage 226 hotwing pipe
pk 1800gram flywheel
bgm 30mm pwk carb jetting 145 main jjf needle 48 pilot
mukini rectangle vacum fuel pump
currently the main is a little big i think

Ps timing is at 18°btdc and plug is a ngk B9ES

Have you strobed your timing? I found I had to file my stator slots and ended up setting mine to 17 deg.

Yes ive used the timing light on it, ive elongingated the the stator slotes so im able to get it to 18°btdc to 15° if need be

Retard timing all the way you can and if pinging stops great prob solved if not a least you can rule the timing out

ive heard of a 210 that would only run right at around 13 degs not sure if it was dunf in bonnie land

Where does it pink? Full throttle, part throttle, rolling back on throttle etc?

You may need a pump for the fuel. The carb, when sitting on manifold, sits only just below the tank, so there is no head of fuel to keep the carb topped up.

The routing of the petrol pipe is important if you choose to fit a fuel pump.

210,s use and demand a lot of fuel rate ,and when the tank is below 1/2 full or less tend to run lean and leaner as the fuel level decreases
