I'm working on an SX150 engine with a quite new GPM piston. I've seen pictures of cracked GPM 66mm pistons on the MB "Gallery of horrors". - Any expierience with the 150 pistons?

I have used them in the past. They're OK but certainly not brilliant.

I'd be inclined to get a "Mahle" from Scooter Restorations at around £30 and rebore the cylinder to be sure

They used to be referred to as GriPMore back in the day due to there propensity for seizing up. As BM sayid the Mahle are a much better bet.
