Having just completed my Injun Vijai Super resto, have the ubiquitous duck fart AC horn. What can be done to make it at least audible
Is there another type of horn that will sit on the same bracket under the horncast that could be heard by pedestrians/car drivers?

Hi Mark, tried a few different horns but all gave typical duck fart noise when needed, have come to the conclusion that a full DC conversion, with a battery wired in, is the only way, you usually only need a horn when your throttles closed and braking. I got a horn from a company called Acumen which is very good but have tried a very cheap DC unit and it was fairly good.
Otherwise it's a gas canister and air horns, very 70's
good luck Ian

If you fit a battery, I can recommend a Stebel air horn. Wouldn't fit under the horncasting, but they're reasonably tiny. You could hide it underneath quite easily.
