Can anyone give me a good starting point for a mikuni TM24 on a classic rapido 200,clubman exhaust, not sure yet wether to go through the airbox or use a breathe sweet filter.Basically if anyone has any info on what they're running, pilot, main jet ,needle number ,what clip etc. Just to get me going in the right direction
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.

On my Muggy 225 with breath sweet filter and clubman I'm using the std needle which I think is 5N14 2nd clip from top, 17.5 or 20 pilot (I've switched them with little difference), 185 or 190 main. Over half throttle it's spot on but between 1/4 and 1/2 it 4 strokes quite badly. I've changed the atomiser from Q0 to P8 but need to try P6 and P4 (when I get hold of some). Dropping the needle to top clip might help but I think it might lean it out above 1/2 so I want to try the atomiser route first.
The thing that amazes me is the huge difference in the std 5N14 needle and the 4DH7, they're not even the same length and I'm sure there must be a few needles inbetween the 2 but nobody seems to have tried one and looking at a Mikuni manual doesn't help much as there's no logic between various numbers.

I am having the exact same problem on a Deanspeed 190 with a PM.
They are no help even when you speak to them directly either.
That's not going anywhere...
