I have just bought a Delly PHBH 26 for my Series 3. I don't want to cut the panels, so what are my options for an air filter ?

You can use a 90 degree rubber elbow with an airfilter fitted to the top. I had one and it sat under my SX panels no problem. Measure the carb inlet diameter, 42mm I think, and most shops have them.

If you are currently running an open carb, you will have to down jet.
Just check the diameters of the three parts to make sure they fit together.

Ram Air Filter fitted...new MB inlet manifold fitted.......the bike simply will not start with the ram filter on. If I take the side panel off, and remove the Ram Filter, and block the end of the air bellow, the bike fires up no problem. WTF ? :wtf:
If I then put the ram back on again whilst running, then the bike will still run, however, it is difficult to restart with the Ram on, and I have to repeat the above i.e. remove the panel, remove the ram filter etc etc. The bike seems spluttery for the first 1/4 throttle, but after that is runs great. The end of the exhaust seems oily, but the plug isn't badly fowled........is this a result of her being flooded ??????? I had initially thought that an oil seal had gone, however, the bike is happy to tick over (once fired up) and beyond 1/4 throttle she is very very nippy !!!
I am confused !!!!

Sounds like it's weak, have you tried playing with the mixture screw and or fitting a larger pilpot jet?
