How come phonetics isn't spelt with an 'f'?

Loctite 
Turn On, Tune In, Cop out!
Hold in place with small grub screw thru frame in line with gap in cone. It's best if you put a divot in cone as well

do you mean allowing the grub screw to locate into the slot in the cone? wont this stop the slot closing to pinch tight on the mounting rod?
