Will an "A" piston fit a "B" bore?

I need a new piston for my Imola kit.It`s a B stamped barrel. Will an "A" grade piston be ok?

If its any help I fitted a C grade piston in my TS1 (B grade barrel) or it might have been the other way round and it was fine, as I couldn`t get the correct grade at the time MB said it would be OK, and it was.

I think you can go one grade either side...?
so mix A with a B, or B with a C, but not A and C
but wait for someone to confirm that....

Get the verniers out, ive had B,s bigger than C,s, :shock: , so you may find a A bigger than a B.

TINO told me that when he had my muggy replated he said a slight oversize was better it never gave me any problems altho it was standard and not that fast(200)
