Hi,does anyone know the engine temperature that an air cooled typhoon 172 should run at?

A two stroke is a two stroke..
Head temp or barrel temp? I guess the sensor is on the head. 90 tops I'd say.

just looking for a fast running temp from the engine, spark plug would be better.
i understand 90 is for a water cooled engine but i seemed to think air cooled engines run a lot hotter than this.

On the one fitted to Dave Workmans Rally the temp gauge was reading between 220 and 265 degrees fahrenheit. The scoots done a few hundred miles now so I guess on this bike at least thats safe.
