ive got a choice to make with which one i go for
the engine that came with bike and rb 20 it or a new sil 200 and ts 1 it
i would like some comparisons please between the 2
has anybody got both or been on one straight after each other?

Personaly I like the new imola better than the RB20. The dynos done here show it making more or less the same power but more torque. Better choice of exhaust.
The TS1 is still the best made and most versatile kit on the market in my opinion though

the sx 150 ive just bought came with the original engine but also a new sil 200 engine
had a ts1 before liked it,but i just thought to try and keep the originality and put an rb into the original engine
ive got one of the new mugello 198 kits(small block) v4 5 ports sat here with a 60 crank to make a 205 but i dont think its going to be quick enough for what im after

Well i gotta say if you want to rag it and your not going to be tinkering with either then the rb staright out of the box with an NK or similar will give you a power band and a big grin factor.
The only scoots that are quicker than my RB tend to be the big TS boys with 240,s and the like, standard TS 200,s, i sh*t em.....

Iv also got about 5k on mine with no probs.

Chalkie at replay scooters has built a touring RB 250 it pulls an SX200 box through 17/46 sprockets. I played with it for half hour around the northamptonshire lanes and on the A6 and was very very impressed. It's not a simple bolt on kit but was a lot cheaper than my RT 255

Had an RB20 myself and found it great fun but very tiring chasing the revs all day after any amount of miles.
