MEC Cylinders

I'm looking to buy a standard cast iron 200 cylinder and have noticed some for sale on a certain well known internet auction site. Advertised as Italian made, I was told by the seller they are made by MEC and supplied by VE-UK, has anyone had experience of using these cylinders? Would welcome anyones feedback before shelling out for one.

I'd use a SIL barrel.
