Mark,

well pleased mate. :D

Hello Dean,

Get the one Mark suggests. Mine was from the Bay of E.

I tried the email you sent me for Ian, but I've heard nothing back. Hope I did it right. :?

Will this conversion work if the AF electronic kit is fitted ?

http://www.afrayspeed.co.uk/index.php?page=Per_electric

The schematic shows a regulator with yellow / brown / black as:

But it states AC system.

Sorry if its a stupid question, I am fine with the oily metal bits & bodywork, but i'm useless when it comes to anything thats likely to give me a belt ( and that includes the wife  )

Hi,yes this will work with the AF/AC set up ,take the regulator off and fit the DC rectifier in its place and follow the wiring diagram as stated for DC conversions.

Thanks for the input Dean.

Will I still need to move the wire on the stator ?

I would have thought so unless you already have a wire from each end of lighting coils. Put a pic of f stator up

I now have all the bits to do the conversion, so I am planning on having a go at it at the weekend ( i will post pics of the stator ).

Does anyone know what size wire I need to feed in to the battery ?

Thanks
