No nipped oil seal, no seal to replace,no worn out bearing if petrol gets to it. A more reliable engine, my old MB YZ engine was done like it.

it makes for a cooler running bearing than a bearing running in grease between two seals; just looked at the pics again the reed looks very much like a std TZR 125 reed block; why not the much talked about V force reeds or is it tassinari; thought they were what we needed for speed,

There are other kits to consider aiming at the touring market - Avanti, MB RT even the DAC. All probably less expensive in the long run. I'd love to see them all toe to toe with the Super Monza over some sort of time trial.

CE seems and shows he's good with all his track wins and the latest time trial win in Spain with the SM but I've never had much luck with some of Cam Lams products. The Mugello with all it's different editions seems to have more coverage than most on these forums...

JB tuning also use this type of bearing in some of there engines to, for some time now.

Well Sean you and Dan seem to be more up to speed with engines than anyone else on here. I'm not being sarcastic or anything here and thats the truth! I value your opinion. Any ideas?
I for one am not sure.......could it be that the grease eventually burns away after a certain mileage and the best solution is to constantly lubricate that bearing? I have always thought that may be a weak point on a Lammy as with a vespa the flywheel side gets constant lube but with a Lammy its just left to the initial grease that is put there when you rebuild the engine and surely this must eventually burn away in a high performance engine?

well bearings can run at a higher speed when lubricated by oil and you wont have to repack with grease, it might use a bearing not meant to run in grease

ktm bearings are also petol /oil lubed. looks like lambretta had it right on the early series 1
