TV175 1963 strip and rebuild

Today i patched up a few holes where edge trim and other bolt on things used to be.

Today i walnut blasted the frame to strip the paint. Frame has cleary been blasted before as it has a rough texture. As it had fine surface rust everywhere I had to spend ages in the oxide machine to strip that... here it is near the end. Image

Frame primed with zinc chromate so a rather fetching puss green.

After a while I'm wishing the blasting cabinet was a bit taller.. oh my back!

Piston measured today... should be fine but need to check about the ring area dimensions and do the "traditional" way of measuring the cylinder/piston gap. Image
