Pinking at high speed with barely open throttle

I think if the material is taken from ther bottom of the slide and not the cut away then it will richen up the carb first 1/4 throttle, as the cut away in relation to the slide position should be lower.

Not sure how you would go about this if its a Mikuni, as I dont run them on mine.

I think Jason might have a good point with the slide choice.
