Ordered from Scooter Restorations - they reckon the 47 - 18 should be fine

does sound like A GP150 ( ying, ying, ying , whur.) but before you spend all your money, it would be prudent to see whats in there.
back in early 80`s i bought a 200 engine from some one and it had a TV200 box in it with 17/ 46 sprockets !!

Meh.. run it in for the first 200km of the ride. You'll feel it loosen up after the first couple of hours.alanscottj wrote:Update - large parcel arrived last week with all my goodies, gp200 gearbox, new chain, front sprocket etc......took the lot and the engine to Barry Turner to do the rebuild and will pick her up next Friday after me hols.
