We came to the conclusion that the barrel wasn't really worth tunning and it would he better to measure up the Indian 200 barrel I have in the garage. This should be close to the port timings needed and won't need all the extra work.
Also, I have been reading about the timings on the rapido classic and they seem to be about right, with the potential for a little of extra work to make them suit carb and exhaust.
Tbh, I probably over egged my desired speeds. I don't really need anymore than 60-65mph and a little more to get past a slow car or lorry.

Personally I'd just stick with the original Jet 200 barrel, fit a GP crank and electronic ignition and maybe a clubman. Won't be warp factor 9 speed but it will be lovely to ride and good on juice plus pretty reliable.

Ts1 is total over kill for what you are after. Cast barrel with good midrange tune clubman exhaust, 26mm carb will hit 75 plus. Good tuner would be RS for this type of motor, just up stroke or fit agusto for more torque .Fuel economy would be quite good and should be reliable.hope this helps
