Fitted my friends barrel on a spanish case gave right squish with thinnest gasket and good clearance on mag housing.
Thanks mate I managed to get a picture ,just making sure I hadn't fit mine upside down,as 2of us talking when fit and forgot to check ,but I new where the ring pegs were,

I fit mine with the biggest gasket and had to trim the mag housing .Jet 200,looks like lth reed valves all round now though ,more wedge :biggrin:

I've a late LI 125 gearbox sitting in box I'm thinking of using this in my TT3 motor.
A 20/21 tooth front sprocket and a 47 tooth clutch bell will give me a ratio of 4.32 / 4.21
Not decided on the exhaust yet.
Anybody any experience with the LI 125 gear box.

i hav a brand new unused fran speed road exhaust for rb it has a seperate downpipe i would like to use this on my avanti kit
anyone know if i change the down pipe for a say new franspeeed avanti down pipe it would fit ?

Spitback is a big problem for me also :flaming:

Any clearance issues with Lth manifold/cylinder/cowling? Are you using a carb filter with this setup? What about panel clearance with the LTH manifold?

Had to cut down 3 fins & trim cowling then deep breath and fit motor back in & it will fit without the use of offset cones...... :P The MBD Shorty would not fit in my bike using standard cones shame as the shorty performs better..........But happy day's bike done around 85 miles sunday with open carb and no oil on floorboards bit inside of panel ..............and it pulls better / harder from low rpm.

In my opinion its a good geabox. I have one in my Rapido 250 motor with 47 20 sprockets. For two up riding its great because of the low ratio first gear, its easy to pull away and put less stress on the clutch in slow traffic.

I drilled a hole about 2/3's of the way down in line with the inlet port. I used a file to make the hole big enough and the shape of the inlet port.
I knew when i had it right, for me its dictated by the point when you feel that well known ache in your arm/wrist otherwise known as wanka's cramp, hole big enough :D

Yes by how much can't give a true answer but the "tw@7 on the rb20" done a tank including reserve and I still had around a third of a tank left :anbrgin;
