Thanks for all the replies guys. Plenty of things to try there before I shell out any more money!

As a matter of interest, does anyone have a pic of their bike with one of the Sat Nav/ Mobile holders fitted?

My speedo works but, reads about twice the speed I'm travelling and jumps. Is there a way to correct the speedo?

I was in contact withe guy who does the keys (can't remember his name now) about having my original kph speedo calibrated and reset to mph, he just vanished and after a couple of emails and stoped replying altogether.

You're lucky - he already had my speedo (original Spanish) when comms went dead! Nearly six months since it was delivered

Someone commented on here a couple of weeks ago that Jem had been/was suffering I'll health!

These speedos are very easy to dissemble, rebuild and adjust. It already does not work correctly, just take it apart, clean/oil the drive and adjust the needle drag ring (not sure of the proper name for it but that's what it does). More gap = less drag= higher needle reading.
