The lights aren't as god awful as I made out. The loom is casa but the switch wiring is original serveta. I'm just after a more concentrated beam TBH.

24v 3w speedo bulb stopped my speedo acting as a landing light

TS1 and PX stay in the garage (future barn finds) out on the GTS 300 when I go out on a scooter.
I know I’ll get there and back

Doesn"t really matter what type of bulb or wattage you put in a lambretta headlamp
The unit-reflector design is not up to parr
I use a 55/55W - H4 halogen in one of the gp"s ~ Fully dc - 11ah battery fitted
Bright ~ But the beam concentration is poor ~ Even when aligned correct
For safe-fast night riding I use a lucas fog ranger spotlamp fitted with a halogen ~ Not the headlamp
The fogranger"s are bigger than the Pathfinder"s generally fitted ~ They give a better light concentration
When it"s foggy instead of the spot use the foglamp ~ Again ~ Far superior than the standard lambretta headlamp
Using the lucas lamps going over the unlit Whitby moors certainly make me feel a lot more @ ease

is this the one listed below ? if so how did you mount it?
http://www.vintagecarparts.co.uk/produc ... -spot-lamp
"When it"s foggy instead of the spot use the foglamp"
again is this the one listed below ?
http://www.vintagecarparts.co.uk/produc ... -lamp-5wft
so a pair of 55w lamps and a normal lammy headlamp will be sucking a lot of juice wattage wise
how did you wire them up?
i take it your using a 120 watt bgm stator and a DC wassel conversion
cheers eddie
