The paints the new water based stuff, its all thats availiable in Germany.
Ive done a bit more work on the GL, need to take a few pics before updating the thread.
I keep running into problems on this scooter, small jobs that shouldnt take much effort are turning into problems, so much so that ill be selling it on later.
I had big problems with the fork rebuild, mainly down to sourcing missing parts, polishing the runners didint exactly go to plan.
The latest problem is getting the new loomin, although I can get an outer cable through the frame without any problems, every time I try to pull the loom through it sticks...I gave up yesterday after about 4 hours of messing about.
I even stripped off the plastic coating on the loom and recovered it with shrink wrap to make everything thinner....keeps getting trapped under the strengthening support around about where the brake pedals fitted.
A mates bringing an endoscope camera around later so we should be able to see where the loom keeps getting trapped.........
Bloody things fighting me every step of the way, Ill get it done though
