Rear sprocket stiff.

Just to finish this off in case anybody ever has the same issue, changed the 0.75mm clutch shim to a 1.2mm shim and it clears the problem.

Hi Ove, just had exactly the same problem :lol: , just another possible solution to using a thicker shim, with mine it was just the ears of the circlip causing the problem so I just put a bit of a chamfer on the ears with a dremmel. No effect on the integrity of the circlip and gave enough clearance for the crownwheel. I'm guessing it was an aftermarket crownwheel, mine was :roll: . Your post saved me from a lot of head scratching so thanks for that!

No worries minority, mine was AF road cassette with a GT endplate. It was possibly the circlip ends sticking up slightly as you said.
