I am just after a standardish kit for a bit of a runaround, as I am in jersey its just for short trips 1 up, got standard gp200 gearing with 22mm carb and a mbbgm clubman. Don't really want to go reed valve or big carb as I also have an rb22, just want something to putt around on.
if your changing to a bigger carb but want to retain the original look I prefer a 24mm PWK on correct manifold, so original bellows, filter and drilled airbox can be used, cheaper,smaller and more compact, they run a lot smoother/cleaner low down, snappier throttle response and a doddle to jet in002pg wrote:Thanks for the replies, I've decided to go for the rt kit and see what its like with the 22mm carb and maybe upgrade to a 25mm carb in the future.
