I don't see why the two yellows couldn't be plugged into a podtronics / wassell type rectifier and the output used to feed the loom and battery.

That is what I was hoping (Like the look and the provenance of the components provided they have not been moved 'Eastwards' to an un=proven supplier yet again Piaggio!)

There's no sign of any Markings on any of the parts except the flywheel and backplate.

I could be wrong but I THINK most bike stators are 3 phase, Wassel do a 3 phase version of their DC regulators but I don't know the wiring configuration.

Ive got a 3phase electrex running through a single phase wassel, just connevted the two yellow wires to thr two yellow on the wassel .
My electrex us 5years old and from memory the wires are slightly differen to what's pictered before.
My wireing diagram had the one yellow conected to the reg/rect and the othe yellow earthed ...........same as what you would need to do to a wassel converted stator if you decided to run it through a normal vepsa style reg .
