Just got reply from PM, they say both bolts are machined to fit either way.

i have the same problem i just swapped the bleed nipple to the top and banjo down to the bottom same thread so do i have the wrong item, pic of mine fitted not bled it yet

I honestly cant see why not? as long as the fluid can get in too push the piston? standard zip/vespa ones work both ways!

Swapped them round and tightened them up. Popped in some fluid and started pumping but no bubbles. Just having a break then am going to syringe out fluid and replacing seals on lever/reservoir piston. Then try again, any other suggestions?

Few bubbles started coming up to reservoir whilst pumping lever, but stopped again shortly after?

Cable tied lever for the night, see how we get on tomorrow

pm got back to me said the item is reversable and will work so bleed away
