obviously you have changed HT lead and plug cap?

also checking the pickup and ht coil with a multi meter isn't always 100% true,,, I have a stator that test good which ive carried round for nearly 2 years as a spare, earlier this year a mate of mine needed to change his stator on the way to Whitby so he tried my spare, it didn't fire at all, in fact it didn't spark at all. when I got home I tested it again on the multimeter and it still showed good readings.

LOL! I haven't a clue. It's kept me off the road all bloody summer! It looks like I'm going to miss the 4 Nations next month. The only rally I was getting to this year.

Out of all thats been done and checked I can not see any mention of CDI. I went through the mill with timeing and different stators earler this year. I tried 3 stators and found the timing moving all over the place simply changing the cdi. I used expensive and cheaper ones but in my case timing could easily change by 10 degrees simply changing the cdi. This in conjuction with an M tech got me thinking they were a waist of time. All stators metered out OK. I settled for a BGM one in the end the next step was to mount it on rubber buffers after comments about vibrations. Like you I seem to have spent the summer in the shed. Good luck.
