Seems there are some good ideas. I really don't want to bugger this up which I could easily do. think I may go for the superglue gel method. haven't seen the gel type and as want to get it right can anyone confirm the make? also liked the tape idea, may be worth trying as it not bugger the paint. When you say little balls, do you them to stick the badge or just to get the adhesive onto the back of the badge?
Again brand name would be good..

Superglue gel is Loctite, you can get if in B&Q amongst other places, this is cheaper though, even taking the postage into account

What you ideally need is some pressure sensitive adhesive tape like 3M's VHB, but which has some thickness too it rather than having to roll it into balls.
Like this:

^^^ whilst the 3M VHB tape has many uses around a scooter, it really isn't suited to fixing script badges to legshields, firstly it's too thick, and secondly, it's a pig to cut accurately and thin enough to do so, however for fixing number plates and larger, say rectangular flat badges, it's perfect

Depends on getting the right one (says the ex-3M rep

) but yeah, it's easier to die-cut...

I wasn't aware it came in different thicknesses (not width) could you point me to the "right one" as the stuff in your eBay link is as I said previously, too thick, but if there's a thinner one I'd be interested?
Thanks
