Depends what kit and pipe you are putting on it.
If you are going down the mallossi 166, with expansion exhaust and big carb route,
Then you would need to change it as it would hit 7000 revs plus
If you fitted a dr kit with sip road and 22 tooth up gear kit etc then you would prob be fine.
As this would rev. The same as the std set up but with more power to pull the higher gearing.
