Series 1 Project 59 Frame Breather
Good job so far, keep those pics coming.

Hi Mate these are from scootrs and are stainless, TBH they are quite poor the main reason I've added the rubber seal is to hide the poor wavy edge. I will take some decent pictures tomorrow.
I'm fitting them because i like the way it finishes the leg-shield to runners, these will be painted eventually so i'm not to fussed about the current finish. I have to say if i wanted polished finishers i would give these a wide birth.
Cheers Jay

Ok Soullad, its about the best i can do from my camera phone.Frautzi wrote:soullad wrote:looking good .... any chance of anymore info on the floorboard embellishers. Been looking for a decent set for a while, and have you added a rubber trim to them?
I'm trying to show how wavy / ripley the finishers are but the camera cant pick up the ripples.

Fixings are welded and will cause low spots if you tighten them too much

The seal section i'm using is a little too thick TBH and could do with a thinner wall section, or you could cut down some horn cast rubber.

Also the rear of the covers touch the side panel even with the floor board all the way forward, so i will have to sort that by dressing the side panel and bending the covers a little

Hope that helps a bit
Jay
