Well.. in all honesty I dont follow anyone, but it is in all the manuals that I read, that in order to make a racey engine, you need to make the compression higher. But then again what do I know?

I think you will find certain racers already run this set up with an extra seal where the cup spacer sits but don't say I told you
Plus high primary compression is so yesterday ,let the exhaust do the work

On Vespas the carb sits above the crankshaft and that helps to lubricate the flywheel side bearing (crank side bearing is lubricated with gearbox oil).Muppet wrote:Is that how a vespa bearing is lubed; petrol oil mix,
