Im hoping Ads will let us borrow one for a bit so we can strap it to a few customers machines and post up results etc.....

mmmmm..be interesting to see how it performs on say...erm.a stage 4 200 iron barrel.. :roll: .. ;)

The extra revs that the Ads pipe allows between 8,000 and 9,500 rpm is quite impressive but in real life unless you had a 5 speed gearbox the JL wins hands down except perhaps in a 150m sprinter or perhaps a quarter mile sprinter that had gearing set up specifically for that purpose. Having said all that many people like their engines to rev to the max and it would be nice to see the effect of this exhaust on a more mainstream barrel not an extremely rare Monza 230 as we all know the port configuration has as much effect on the power delivery as the design of the exhaust.
Please don't forget this was designed pretty much with road racing in mind, hence where the power is delivered.

Monza ain't that rare near me but many graphs have been posted with the pipe previously e.g TS1, Muggellos in varying states of tune.......

A 5 speed box is not a requirement for this pipe......many happy customers will agree with me. :) But I will say this pipe is not for a stg4 200 because it makes no sense to put one on one basically...... :?

The next couple of graphs show our ADS3 Rally pipe against a JL4. Same Monza 230 setup.

@ 6k the increase in both Power and Torque over the JL4 is 40%!! :D

I must admit the results did take me by suprise.......

The customer is now awaiting a ADS3 ;)

I had a jl4 on my stage 4 and it flew , still quite good tourque as well , obviously not as much as the jl3 but i loved it , screamed the arse off it and never had any bother ....until i went to a ts1 .... :lol:
