think pinasco made 160 ish cc kit in the early 90`s - the first kit for a T5

If it goes ok, why not just leave it? Even with a kit on, it's not likely to be a 'high performance' machine, is it?

found out that one of are lads in the club fitted the 166 kit when it locked up in 2006 on the way to morecambe, also changed seals/bearings as well,told that the oil tank was full of sludge and stopped the oil but like i said will see friday keep my fingers crossed for my son,oh and yes its a t5 engine.

Just had a scan and apparently Pinasco did a 162 kit so it's probably that.

Even though one of the lads has said that its a t5 engine,how would i be able to tell from looking at it,got lammy and had a 180rally but if someone could give me a bit of a clue it would be great.
t5 exhaust is bolted to manifold like a bretta

T5 spark plug sits in the centre of the cylinder head, on a px125 this is off centre pointing upwards. The T5 will always have a bolt on exhaust and a PX even with a 166 kit will push on to a stub like rally180.
