Rubber O Rings for Bullets TS1 exhaust?

no, high temp silicone if you can get some. i use household clear silicone and works fine but i used to have wurth black high temp stuff which lasted forever.

stops the exhaust falling apart too as it damps the rattling. the one time i didn't use it i holed a piston :roll:

On a small side note, the KX 500 I'm doing also uses 2 O rings to seal the exhaust stub. It also uses an ally washer that goes between the end of the stub and the barrel, this helps to stop the end of the stub from wearing the inside of the exhaust port. But on some of the MX websites they also recommend using said silicone sealant on the O rings as well.

I have also ordered some viton o rings from AF rayspeed. So hopefully they will fit. My ts1 240 made 36 bhp on JB tunings dyno with a franspeed. It had a little more porting on the cases, when i had it stripped last by JB, so with the Bullet i am hoping for a few HP more.
Any results from the new pipe?
