Not inside the engine it shouldn't. ive never had much problem with the front sprocket bolt.
When i was young my Mom said "if you haven't got anything nice to say, say nothing at all " ..................... and people wonder why I'm quiet around them !

Success, It's now removed, a compressor air driven socket impact gun did the job for me.
It just needed a little more power.

Now to that clutch arm circlip I cant get a hold on with my circlip removers!

Updated info on the restoration. I have reached the clutch and gears.
There is a considerable amount of wear on the clutch spider and rear sprocket from the clutch plates hitting on it. the pressure plate is fine. The gears seem to be in a very good condition. Or i don't know what I'm looking at since it's all first time. The chain has a great tension still but I've found some broken links on it so it goes to the bin.

After viewing the scooterrestorations website I realise this is a 2nd oversized piston. So, is the engine rebored or could it be that way original?

"For 2nd oversize TV175 Series 2 & 3 models. Comes with cast iron piston rings (3 ring set), 2 x circlips and Gudgeon Pin. Made in Italy by Borgo, original suppliers to Innocenti (new old stock)"

its hard to tell from the photos with regards to your rear sprocket...if you do change, make sure its a one piece.....i.e not riveted together, as for the gear box it does look to be in good condition...most of em do...if the piston is the 1st oversize then its been rebored once....keep em coming finishing up my S1 THEN ITS s3 tv time

And it's Layshaft time!

I have removed the layshaft. It seems to bee in good condition. The only part with considerable wear is the gear selector sliding dog. Strangely enough I didn’t see any damages or wear on the gears themselves. I have read on internet forums that old layshafts have finally given up but I’ll hope that since this bike hasn’t been run for 24 years it’s layshaft will still have some life left for a couple of years.

I will try to take some better photos of it later today. Yepp, according to scooterrestoration the 62.4 is on 1st oversize. I will hone the cylinder and try to measure the piston play to find out if it's been worn or in good shape.

I have come to the stage of cleaning the top end and barrel.
It was a lot of grease that needed degreasing and it took me awhile.
Here are some images of the end result. I got rid of most of
the dirt build up from the top end inside, just some minor left.
