Will a vw tailpipe clubman fit a series 1/2

Will a clubman with the beetle tailpipe fit onto a full bodied series 1/2 without cutting the running boards severely.

You'd need to trim a bit off at the back I expect.

It does'n even fit on Ser.3 without cutting.

looking at the runners for series 1 and 2 they extend back further than series 3 by a good 3" at least so would say that the runner would have to be cut back to the rear mount



possibly cut back further to get a vw clubman on

i could get a copy of an under kick fresco done
