how big a kit could i put on my standard 125 t5 classic without loosing any reliability? the scoot is very reliable at the moment and is complately standard. not sure what size the crank is or anything as i havent had it to bits cos nothing has gone wrong. however, i would like abit more top end without getting rid of the realibiblty of the scoot.

thanks

I've got Malossi 172 and standard T5's
To be honest the kit gives better grunt for headwinds but very little more top end.
Leave it standard.

my speedo reads around 75 flatout and wont get anymore i know i dont need anymore but it is wlays nice to know that i can oush it and it will go say if some idiot is up my arse on a dual carraigeway. do you think a malossi 175 kits would give it that bit extra to keep the arseholes at bay on mainroads?

If your speedo is saying 75mph on a standard engine you are doing about 62/63mph tops.
My Malossi 172 reads 75mph if i rag it but i know the speedo is lying.

i havent had the engine apart so im not certain its comepletely standard do you think i shoudl take the head off and measure the piston to see if it already has a kit? or is the other ways of being able to guess wheter or not it has been played with? i know it has a sito plus exhaust which would give it abit more umph but i certainly didnt expect it to be as quick as it is.

If it rattles like a bag of spanners at low revs then its got a Malossi kit on it.
