I had a mate with a taffspeed tuned LD in the 80s the weak point with it was the drive shaft, which kept snapping. Ive recently aquired an LD in boxs and i couldnt believe how thin he drive shafts are :o the thickness of a pencil :o .
Is there an upgrade for these? or do you still have to biuld up the power ? :?
Love the scoot by the way. :D
When i was young my Mom said "if you haven't got anything nice to say, say nothing at all " ..................... and people wonder why I'm quiet around them !

Better to keep quiet and be thought of as a D!ck Head, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

I think the French LD125 had a thicker drive shaft but not sure if it's any stronger or a straight swap.Italian Mk3 Ld gearbox has 5 dogs instead of 3 so would cope slightly better with the power.Best of luck :bigsm:
