Saw one in Ireland a couple of weeks ago. Sounded fantastic but the owner said it had a maximum tank range of 40 miles. Not exactly practical.

I thought the first batch were disowned by a tuner of some repute, then found there way onto other dealers. Now awaiting a 2nd (right) batch...?
This may or may not be bol**ks and should be treated with a pich of salt unless someone can confirm.....

That sounds remarkably bad. My RS250 (tuned to about 70hp) was very good on petrol - when it wasn't doing 12k everywhere.ArmandTanzarian wrote:Saw one in Ireland a couple of weeks ago. Sounded fantastic but the owner said it had a maximum tank range of 40 miles. Not exactly practical.
I'm only guessing, but these Targo 250s are fitted with powervalves, aren't they, for kind of money they're being sold for? Running below 7k, a twin shouldn't be particularly thirsty. These are only 30odd hp, surely?
