Incredible! Put me down for one of each!
Will the manifold fit a Mikuni 24TM or 28TM without fouling TV/SX/GP engine mounts?

Specifically the carbs I have designed for are PHBL25, PHBH28, VHSH 30-34, RGV250 (special version of Mikuni TM), TMX30-34 and VHSB carbs. All these options have a very generous panel clearance on all versions, Li, TV, SX and buckets of space on series 1 & 2.
The production and tooling prices are all in and this gives an estimated retail of £450 for either kit, including a special head and a special "U" bend to allow connection to standard clubmans. The killer is the 5 axis CNC liner, very expensive. This puts the kit in the same region as others but it most certainly has very distinct advantages and flexibility.
I have considered running the numbers on making it in iron but what you gain on the swings you lose much more on the roundabouts. Plating the bore is a definate no, no, it has to lined. I have looked at cheaper options for the CNC liner with 3 and even 4 axis alternatives but the top quality is just not there and it is this detail that will set it apart.
I have a couple of other key priorities this year so it is likely to stay on the back burner a little longer but all the time different avenues get explored and little tweaks get made to improve things to reduce tooling costs. Keep an eye on it, you never know.

Spend 25k producing a kit or wipe 25k of the mortgage and save a shed load of interest & do it later? Money off the mortgage wins hands down this time. I might make a couple of prototypes next year and see how we go.
