Gear support ?? can you give a little better description...

edit: handlebar gear support, the part with the clutch lever and the (red) numbers...
the one i saw was not machined for the dish washer to fit
I got S1/2 one from a UK supplier, it wasn't a good fit and probabaly came from India or wherever. It cost me about 25 quid. I could have got a remade from Vietnam cheaper......

The one i picked up (Vietnamese) had the wrong font
Might not matter to some but sticks out a mile on a quality S3 resto

Is there really such a shortage of such items that they need to be remade? I saw a big box of second hand Italian ones at Wicksteed yesteray, and the splined gear wheels and rods. I should have bought them.
I'd always opt to try and find a second hand item through this site before buying a remade item. People on this site are extraordinarily helpful and generous.
