Indian VIN's?

Is the frame number in the normal place on your frame or is it below the tool box.
The Pushpak's I've seen the number is on the frame under the tool box.
But as with everything there doesn't seen to be any hard & fast rule at least not one I can follow.

Mines on the frame in the normal place, theres not a vin plate under the toolbox. regards.
