Again? Why a "journalist" like Sticky constantly puts out petty lies and false rumours about companies is baffling. You never know anymore if what Sticky says is reliable or just more personal bias and revenge against others.
We didn't fall out with Beedspeed and cause them to sell a copy of our disc, as Sticky pretends. Beedspeed wanted the lowest priced items and insisted on Chinese copy hydraulics on disc kits, but we said we would not supply those, it was better to pay a little more for the higher quality of Nissin hydraulics. They disagreed and sourced sand cast copies of our kit with the Chinese hydraulics and began selling those along with other copies. We thought that approach was shortsighted so we chose not to accept any more orders from them and to focus on other partnerships. Different approaches.
So, a foreign company took a stance years ago in favour of quality against short-term UK shop sales, yet all Sticky can think to do is start another false rumour pretending the foreigners are troublemakers. Such pettiness really discredits Sticky. We hope one day he accepts being occasionally criticized for his approach and returns to posting only trustworthy facts.

Oh, good god, no. "Sterling" is a local Vietnamese guy and not, suffice to say, a supplier of anything to anyone local who has been in the business for years. Just some overseas.
Many years back we first secured a supply of Nissin hydraulics direct from the source and have always bought direct. Not sure what others do.
On a related note, we sometimes hear of posts insisting there can only be one real supplier of most things in Vietnam. There are many, even of major items.

It's quite simple really: sand cast copy vs high-pressure cast original with other refinements.
The father of the guy who ran scooters-rock used to buy the copies but had a few crack apart on customers, then the son started scooters-rock and approached us for the high-pressure cast originals because of that. You might ask an unbiased UK source with experience like that. He's on ebay now,
