Hi all here is my first post so be gentle !

My Gp has always been a bit smokey on tickover but it appears to have got worse.

Approx 6 months ago the peg came out of the piston and wrecked the barrel so I have had to have my TS1 barrel re lined new piston etc and it was laid up for about 6 months. Since it's top end rebuild and new clutch it appears more smokey.

It smokes really bad on first being started but thins out when it gets warm when I get to work about 4 miles later it is much better. If I stop but keep it running for any length of time the smoke comes on again. It does not smell really bad in fact it still appears to have the 2 stroke smell.

If I block the exhaust with my foot the scooter starts to splutter but does not completley stall Could it be a blown seal or something else ?

Well drained the gearoil whilst running and there was no rise in revs but only about 200 mls came out so I fear the seal may have gone
