I finished my model c two month ago. After a couple of kilometers the rear knuckle joint started to leak grease when the engine has warmed up. This was the only part of the engine I haven't touched in the first place because somebody told me it's to difficult.
Does somebody know how to get the cogs out and if a special tool is needed?
There is a bit of casing missing where the rear engine bolt / brake bolt goes (see picture) is this standard or has the large cog been rubbing against the casing?

I think the seal between the gearbox and rear drive is gone, so when the engine gets hot the oil runs into the knuckle joint?!
