Connector suggestions

I see... ideally you need to source something small enough to be able to be threaded back down thru the stator loom clamp and ideally just into the hole in your frame .....you might need to think about 4 single type connectors.
Mike hints at Indian clamps being bigger and Martins probably hinting that should you need to swap a stator out you will probably need to carry either the tools and spares to modify a normal stator loom "out in the field" or take a pre-converted spare with you.

Im hoping to pop over to marts somtime next week when Holty is back so we can put our heads together. I know how i want it in my mind but thats not always the best way to do it...lol

I had this very idea last year after a period of going thru stators like they were going out of fashion.

The idea of a "plug in and play engine/stator " seemed like a good one after Martins rear brake cable made it easy to disconnect ,it seemed the next step to do something similar with the stator wires .

Unforunately I was enable to source a satisfactory waterproof connection block that would fit thru the hole in the mag flange so i ended up (as suggested above) using bullet connectors (male and female) to join the wires under the reat strut.

I then covered the splice with a small bit of heatshrink to tidy it up.
