The scoops only for show at the minute but if I needed a bit more air under the panels it would be easy to drill a load of holes in the frame loop behind it.

resprayed a few bits under the panels and just fitted a bell mouth on the mikuni, only cheap from chine off ebay but great quality, fitted spot on and i think it looks great.
