Just finished the rebuild after getting knocked off and after starting the scoot was checking the wiring and lights etc... all works as it should however with the key in position 3 (main lights) everything works as it should however when you flick the onto main beam both the headlight and pilot light go off????
Any ideas/
I have used a new loom, CASA ignition, light switch and junction box.
Cheers

With a casa ignition switch the front pilot light should be off in the 3rd key position anyway.
But if the rear light goes out when you switch to main beam then you probably have a short on the main beam wire between the dip switch and the bulb holder.
If the rear stays on but no main then it's probably just a poor connection between them somewhere, or a faulty lamp.
